School
District 2 thanks the Greater Moncton Real Estate Board
for their generous support of
Breakfast programs throughout South East
New Brunswick. Most schools - elementary,
middle
and high - run breakfast programs for their
students. Some operate
daily, while others
are only offered once or twice a week. They
are often
coordinated and staffed
by
volunteers and rely primarily on grants and donations to be
sustained.
With
the support from the
Greater Moncton Real Estate Board, schools
will receive
additional funds to
expand their program or provide a wider
variety of nutritious
foods to the students they
serve. Pictured
above is Carole Murphy, Community
Schools
Coordinator of School
District 2 accepting a cheque from President
Paul Burns of
the Greater Moncton Real Estate Board. These monies were
raised from a golf
tournament held by the members
of the Board.

Recently, the Greater Moncton Real Estate Board donated a generous
contribution to
School District 01. The
contribution was to help the breakfast program offered in the
schools
where there is a need for such a
program. The School District will forward the money to
the schools offering
breakfast to their students who express the need. Greater
Moncton
Real Estate
Board members raised money for School Breakfast Program at
their 2009
Golf Tournament. Anne-Marie
LeBlanc, School District 01 Superintendant, received
the cheque from Paul Burns,
Greater Moncton Real Estate Board President.
