Hats off to all the local REALTORS® for their hard work in
adding to the Quality of Life in the Greater Moncton area.
Greater Moncton
REALTORS® du Grand Moncton made their delivery to the Sue
Stultz Turkey Drive this morning. The local REALTORS® and
affiliate members worked to raise money at their Christmas Mix
& Mingle and exceeded monies raised last year to be able to
donate a total of 160 Turkeys; an increase of 60% from 2010's
donation. Greater Moncton REALTORS® du Grand Moncton thanks
Sobey's on Vaughan Harvey for all of their support.

Grand Moncton award 4 Bursaries annually to students who
demonstrate exceptional dedication to volunteerism and serving
their community.
The Bursary program
recognizes the youth in the community that uphold the same values
as REALTORS® who give time and donate to help worthwhile
community causes every week of every month, in every season.

CENTURY 21 MONCTON
MAKING SUMMER FUN FOR EVERYONE!
Century 21 Countryside
Realty Ltd. is committed to making their community a better place
for everyone. Their charity of choice is Easter Seals, NB and in
particular, their Kids to Camp Campaign; helping send children with
disabilities to summer Camp. Recently they presented Easter Seals
New Brunswick with a very generous cheque for $2,000. The Easter
Seals Kids to Camp Campaign funds children to attend Camp Rotary, a
fully accessible residential camp on Grand Lake. The Century 21
offices are committed to giving back to their community by making
sure every kid gets the chance to go to camp each
summer.

FOR Greater Moncton REALTORS® du Grand

Greater Moncton
REALTORS® due Grand Moncton installed a new Director last
week. The new President, Shirley Powell
brings years of
organized real estate experience to the new leadership position;
including being a former President of the Board in 1997. She
has taken the reigns over from now Past President Chris
Constantine.
President, Shirley Powell is pleased to take
over the position. She states, “Organized real estate
is going through exciting changes. Technology advances are
driving our industry to update and work to be ahead of the
curve. Change is constant and understanding its impact
on our business is critical.”
The new President is looking forward to
working with her new team of Directors to manage the change to
benefit the members. “Members of Greater Moncton
REALTORS® du Grand Moncton are licensed professionals and it is
our Boards job to assist them in having the relevant tools to serve
their clients’ needs. The MLS® system is only one
of those tools.”

Moncton brought out their best in 2010 to fundraising and volunteer
efforts.
To date the Greater Moncton REALTORS® contributions total
$108,300.35 donated to worthy causes. The PR Committee
helped to facilitate a number of events that contributed to this
total and the community.

ANNUAL TURKEY
DRIVE
Greetings Moncton
At the Moncton Real Estate
Board's annual Christmas Party, we raised funds through games, a
silent auction and donations to buy turkeys for the Annual Sue
Stultz Turkey Drive.
(The turkeys are for needy
families at Christmas time)
Last year, we donated 63
turkeys. This year, we went way over the top at 101
TURKEYS!

ROYAL LEPAGE ATLANTIC MONTE CARLO
NIGHT
Royal LePage Atlantic recently held a Monte Carlo
Night in order to help raise money for the following charities;
Tree of Hope, Wee Care, Youth House in Dieppe, Shelter Foundation
and the Down Syndrome Society. The total amount raised was
$33,000.
Tickets were sold for a chance to win a flight
from WestJet. Pictured in the photo are Shirley Fillmore from Royal
LePage Atlantic, the ticket winners Kelly & Roland Leblanc and
Roger Leblanc from Royal LePage Atlantic.
